Training on New Application Software

EPFO has planned an intensive training on “new application software” beginning July 2009. The training aims to enhance skill sets of employees for desired performance and also attempts required attitudinal orientation for working in the new environment where every official would work through a thin client interface.

The training is being coordinated by National Academy for Training and Research in Social Security (NATRSS) New Delhi.

NATRSS has planned three types of training to roll out of the application software. Two weeks training in collaboration with National Informatics Center (NIC) is for in house technical officials.

Three days training by EPFO Project Team aims to create trainers from amongst the EPFO officials for training end users at eleven designated centers across the country.

NATRSS has trained 214 trainers from the business side and 70 technical persons till now. Business persons so trained are now training users at designated training centers. Trained Technical persons are assisting the field offices for roll out of the Application software in a phased manner.
